(Photo by Pattarapong Chatpattarasill)Police have arrested 11 foreign suspects during raids on six targets in Bangkok and Samut Prakan as part of a crackdown on transnational crime networks and people staying in the country illegally. Among the items seized were 46 grammes of cocaine and 28 grammes of marijuana, said Pol Maj Gen Surachet Hakphan, acting deputy chief of the Tourist Police Bureau. Pol Maj Gen Surachet indicated that further legal action could be possible. Transnational crime has become more complicated, with more sophisticated methods developed to prey on victims and avoid arrest, said Pol Maj Gen Surachet.
